Operation Clean Sweep commences on Monday, May 13, as city crews begin cleaning up Estevan.

On Monday, crews will start with the north, east, south, and west entrances as well as the outlying areas.

Starting Tuesday, May 14, crews will work on all city-owned properties, including boulevards, medians, parks, and natural areas.

On Wednesday, May 15, organic waste material pickup will start for residential properties on the north side of town. On Thursday, May 16, they will conduct south-side pickup. Residents should have all organic materials on the front driveways by 8 a.m., as there will be no callbacks for missed pickups. Organic waste includes twigs, leaves, and yard refuse. Branches must be bundled in 3-foot lengths, and leaves and yard refuse must be bagged.

The week will conclude with a free landfill weekend for Estevan residents over the long weekend.
