It was a good morning to be in the towing business as the cold weather settled over the southeast.

You may not be as lucky if you were one of the many whose car did not agree with the weather.

"We have been dealing mostly with house calls," said Mark Godlien from Camel Towing & Sales.

Battery issues, vehicles not starting or frozen, and semi breakdowns were the main sources of frustration for people who were on their way to work.

There were also a few calls for people who had been locked out of their vehicles.

“It’s a typical day for cold weather,” said Godlien.

The extremely cold weather will stick around through the weekend and into next week.
