Within a few weeks the City of Estevan will be milling King street from Bannatyne to Souris avenue and laying down new pavement.

"We will be laying down new pavement, which will begin shortly after the first weekend in August, we are predicting that the project will last for a week or a little more," shared Norm Mack Estevan's New Roads and Drainage Manager.

The current road block on King street is expected to be removed by the end of the day.

"Right now we are just doing some test lines and adjusting some lines, we just want to test them on the old pavement before we put the lines on the new pavement. It's just a short term project, we have listened to the public and we are going to readjust some of the lines on King street and make it more user friendly."
