Over the weekend the EPS had a few things going on.

They received a driving complaint.  The vehicle has been identified by the complainant and the matter is still under investigation.  The police remind the public that in many cases the registered owner can be charged for driving infractions should someone be driving your vehicle improperly.

Police received a report of a disturbance downtown.  Police attended and the parties involved were sent on their way for the rest of the evening.

The police arrested a 25-year-old male from Alberta for being intoxicated in a public place.  He was lodged in cells for his own protection.  He will be released when sober.

A 29-year-old Estevan male was arrested for refusing to leave a liquor establishment.  Police attempted to resolve the situation by giving the male a ride home for the evening.  The male began causing problems in a south end residential area.  So the male was arrested for being intoxicated in a public place and lodged in cells until sober.

Police received a report of mischief to a vehicle.  A 42-year-old Estevan male was arrested for mischief for breaking a window in a parked vehicle.  He was also intoxicated so he was lodged in cells.  He will be released in the morning on charges of wilful damage of a value not exceeding $5000.00.
