It is obvious that the harvest season has been challenging this year for Saskatchewan farmers.

Local grain farmer Adriaan Lievaart spoke about his struggles this year.

"It's been a challenge, to say the least. The saturation points came to when you can't run machinery on the land that makes it very stressful n for combine operators to know where to go."

"A lot of tough and damp grain has been stored"

Lievaart talked about how in his entire farming career he has never seen this much moisture during a harvest.

Lievaart added that despite all the struggles, the harvest has been going well and he managed to get off all of his crops off a few short days ago. He also added that because of all the moisture and precipitation, they will have a bunch of clean up to do that could even stretch into next year.
