The Estevan RCMP are seeking information regarding a May 19 incident involving a black 2005 F-150 pickup truck that fled a traffic stop on 1st Street.

A witness came forward with a report that a female had either jumped or fallen out of the truck. Officers located the parked vehicle shortly after and observed a male and female walking away from it.

The male was arrested, while the female was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A 29-year-old male from Weyburn was charged with one count of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and one count of flight from a peace officer. He also received several traffic tickets.

He is remanded in custody until his next appearance on May 23 at the Estevan Provincial Court.
