Southeast Saskatchewan is nearly finished work on this year's harvest.

According to this week's Crop Report, 99% of the crop has been harvested, with the final 1% laying in swath waiting to be combined.

Sunflower yields are expected to be the highest in the province, while average yields of triticale are expected to be the lowest.

Farmers have been busy with some fall work, including spraying herbicide, harrowing, hauling bales, burning flax straw, and moving grain.

Meanwhile, topsoil moisture has improved significantly over the last week.
