The Estevan Police Service arrested a man one hour after he allegedly stole a vehicle from Oxbow on Saturday night.

The police report says Carnduff RCMP alerted EPS of the theft, which happened in Oxbow around 7 p.m. The EPS found the vehicle around 8 p.m. in Estevan and arrested a 21-year-old Carnduff man.

The EPS say he was also wanted on outstanding warrants for driving while suspended and four charges of failing to attend court for other matters.

He was charged with theft of a motor vehicle and remanded in custody for court on Monday.

The EPS say the vehicle was in good condition with no visible damage. They contacted the owners, and both EPS and Carnduff RCMP are continuing to investigate.
