The Moosomin Rangers are moving on to the second round of the Big Six Hockey League playoffs after a 6-5 win over the Carlyle Cougars Monday night in Carlyle.

Carlyle led 4-3 after the first period but the Rangers rallied to score three unanswered goals.

The Cougars scored in the final minute of regulation but it wasn’t enough to keep their season alive.

Moosomin wins the best of three series 2-0.

The Big Six playoffs continue Tuesday as Carnduff battles Bienfait.
