Saskatchewan recorded two new job records last year.

Lyle Stewart, the Minister of Enterprise and Innovation, says while the numbers are good, he'd like to continue to see improvement.

From December 2006 to December 2007, job numbers in Saskatchewan are up by 1,800.

According to Statistics Canada's year-end job numbers, on average, 501,800 people were employed in the province in 2007, marking the first time the yearly employment level has reached the half-a-million mark in our province's history.

Job numbers have hit record monthly highs for the last twenty-one months.
