With snow suspected to accumulate this week sledding hills and outdoor rinks are busy with skaters of all shapes and sizes, that means only one thing to kids and the kid inside of us... get the toboggan!
The City of Estevan has plenty of hills able to meet your sledding needs this winter.
There are 3 different sites that I'm aware of in the city. Churchill Park on the 1200 block of First Street is one of the most common hills. It is a well-developed mature park along the valley on the South side of city along First Street. This park offers a large area to sled with scenic views overlooking the valley. There is also many benches as well as a gazebo to take a rest after climbing up those hills.
All the hills to use are all within close distance of the city limits. And just a reminder to all of those sharing the hills to be safe.
As the snow and warmer weather start to cover all the grass this week you should get outside and embrace your inner child.
