Estevan has received 28.6cm of snow to start the year off and more is in the forecast this weekend.  The budget will be finalized at the next City Council meeting on January 24th, and on item that many residents might be worried about at this time of year is the snow removal.

City Manager Jim Puffalt is confident that snow removal will not be a problem and they plan for one major storm between January and March and another major storm in November through December.  Puffalt said snow removal will not be a problem and that they are planning to have the streets cleared within the next two weeks.  The city uses 20cm as the guideline to start the snow removal process.
