St. Joseph's Hospital is getting a new Panda infant warmer and a resuscitation machine, thanks to a $31,095 donation from the local Kinsmen Telemiracle Foundation to the hospital's fundraising body.

St. Joseph's Hospital Foundation Executive Director Lori Gervais says those items have been on their wish list for a while.

She says that the two foundations work well together to help out the community.

"The Kinsmen, you can apply for different grants, they are always open for helping communities with certain purchases and it fits the criteria and so the Kinsmen let us know that we were eligible and they paid for that piece of equipment. It was quite fantastic."

The hospital's workers are happy with the purchase as it's one in a long line of helpful donations made by the Kinsmen and Kinettes.

"Everybody's ecstatic of course as well. It's always fantastic, everyone's so thankful always when the foundation can help out with anything but then when you have the Kinsmen helping out and stepping up on top of it."

"The Estevan Kinette club and the Estevan Kinsmen club have been long-time donators to the hospital. They've done several projects for us over the years and so the Kinsmen Foundation is one that has their name all over the hospital because they're great supporters and are always ones to step up to help."

Gervais says that they're great to work with and she looks forward to the two foundations' future cooperation.
