As spring turns to summer, the Estevan Public Library (EPL) is gearing up to offer an exciting array of programs and events. Branch Manager Jason Redshaw recently highlighted some of the key attractions on the SUN 102 Morning Show, ensuring there's something for everyone to enjoy.

One of the standout features of the EPL's summer offerings is the Regional Park Passes. Available now through September, these passes can be borrowed for up to seven days, allowing families to explore and enjoy regional parks without the cost of admission.

Another major highlight is the TD Summer Reading Club, a program designed to encourage children to continue reading during the summer months. Sponsored by TD Canada Trust, the club includes various activities and prizes to keep young readers motivated. "Even if you can't participate in the actual programs themselves, you still can come in, do the reading log and be eligible for prizes all throughout the summertime," explained Redshaw. The program kicks off with a party on June 28, featuring treats, fun activities, and floor curling.

In addition to these exciting programs, the EPL is hosting a 3D printing orientation on June 12. This event will give participants an introduction to 3D printing, including how to find and create files. Attendees will also receive a $3 coupon off their first print job. "We had a 3D dinosaur skull T-Rex that we put into the art auction from our 3D printer and that went pretty quick," Redshaw shared, highlighting the creative possibilities with the library's 3D printer.

Look to the Library's social media and website for more insight into these events and check out what else they have to offer with the Summer Program Guide. With programs tailored for kids, tweens, teens, adults, and families, there's something for everyone to enjoy at the Estevan Public Library. Stay connected and make the most of the diverse opportunities for learning, socializing, and exploration throughout the summer.
