Wednesday was Camp Day at Tim Hortons and both locations in Estevan were busy with people wanting to support Camp Day.

"The day went great, the volunteer help was amazing," shared Carl Willows, Manager of the Tim Hortons on 4th Street in Estevan, "they did really good at supporting the community, the RCMP, the City Police, the Fire Department, our local Pastors. It was a great day. We raised over $2000 in coffee sales, $500 in cash and there was over $700 in bracelet sales, so all together we raised $3371. It was a very good day, we did better than last year by a fair bit."

Tim Hortons Camp Day is a day on which they donate all the money from coffee sales towards sending children in the community to summer camp. They raise additional money by accepting donations and selling their camp bracelets.

"It went great," said Ryan Irwin, the Manager of the King Street Tim Hortons, "this year we raised just over $3500 with coffee sales, bracelet sales and donations. I'd just like to thank the community for helping out, the Estevan Police Service for coming to help sell bracelets along with the Estevan Bruins, and I'd like to thank our staff for the hard work they put in and hopefully we can do better next year."
