According to Environment Canada, winds as high as 110km could be hitting the southeast this evening as a strong low-pressure system, or a clipper, is set to come through Saskatchewan.

Strong winds are sweeping across the province from west to east with a bit of a slow build-up throughout the day. Winds are expected to reach up to 80km during the afternoon, but once night falls snow is likely to join the equation and by midnight, we could see the wind kick up even further.

The warning is in effect for all areas of the southeast including areas north of Stoughton and as far east as Redvers and Carnduff. More details from Environment Canada will be here this afternoon.
