Highway conditions across the province are not good thanks to the blizzard that has rolled through last night and this morning. Those blizzarding conditions are likely to continue for a time this morning and could reduce visibility on the highway, and paired with the light rain and below-freezing temperatures last night, the roads have been shined up to skating rink levels.

A report from the Highway Hotline at 2:57 am showed multiple roads in the province closed including Highway 39 northwest of Midale, and Highways 33 and 13 west of Stoughton, along with all other roads leading in and out of Regina. This has since been updated to show that only 'winter weight' conditions are in effect, but heed caution if you're heading out on the roads regardless as conditions are believed to be worse in those areas than reported.
