A quadrupale homicide "person of interest" with ties to Moose Jaw and Regina is being sought by Calgary Police.

Deputy Chief Murray Cowan, with the Estevan Police Service explains, "We're certainly keeping an eye out for those things."

"What happens is, especially when it involves Western Canada or neighbouring provinces, organizations will do what they call a fan-out. So they will certainly send the information out to us so we can keep an eye on it."

"What we do as an organization, is we will always look into it to see if that person at some point may have been in the city. It's just a precautionary thing."

He explained that officers will take notes of it at briefings at the beginning of their shifts and then as they go out on patrol and do their work around the city, they will watching for anything that fits the description.

He adds that there is no risk to the public right now, but if you do see the suspect, you can call the Estevan Police Service at 306-634-4767.

"We also ask the community to keep an eye out for them as well. If they think they see the suspect, or person of interest, they can most certainly call our office and we can follow up with them."
