Though the seasons switched to spring more than a month ago, a last blast of winter arrived in the southeast over the weekend.

Light snow drifted across the ground as early as Saturday, but it wasn't until early Monday morning that a noticable amount of snow stuck around the streets in Estevan.

Wet snow covered the ground and rooftops as the sun rose and, with temperatures hovering around zero for the next 24-48 hours, the snow is anticipated to stay visible until the middle of the week.

Slippery conditions will exist across the southeast with the wet conditions. Motorists and pedestrians are advised to travel with caution.
