A strong start to the season continued for the TS&M AAA Estevan Brewers with three wins in three road games over the weekend.

@ Regina Expos Sunday

The Brewers wrapped up their weekend with a 12-8 win in Regina over the Expos on Sunday.

Broden Henry and Jaxon Kuchinka led the offence with three hits apiece. Reese Copeland hit his second home run of the season, driving in two. Cruz Symons also had a couple runs batted in, notching one hit.

Kuchinka started for the Brewers, throwing four innings before turning it over to Tristan Brownridge who closed out the final three frames.

The Brewers are 5-1-1 on the season.

@ White Butte Broncos Saturday Game 2

After coming onto the mound to strike out the last batter in Saturday's opener, Broden Henry threw five innings as a starter for the Brewers 9-8 win over the Broncos in White Butte.

Peter Crossman and Jaxon Kuchinka each had two hits and drove in two runs. Tristan Brownridge shut down the Broncos in the final inning, earning the save.

The Brewers started the weekend with a 10-9 win over the hosting White Butte Broncos.

Reese Copeland started for the Brewers and had a pair of hits with two runs batted in. Kris Phillips came on in relief. And Broden Henry entered for the final batter, striking him out to finish the game and notch the save.

Next weekend

The Brewers return home this weekend for a pair of doubleheaders. 

They have the Regina Buffalos Saturday and the Weyburn Beavers on Sunday. Games are at Cactus Park with 1 and 4 p.m. starts.
