The province's highway hotline says winter driving conditions exist around the southeast, thanks to icy and slippery sections, as well as snow drifts, drifting snow, and loose and swirling snow.

A man named Drew called Sun 102 a little before 6:30 Thursday morning to report dangerous conditions a little north of Estevan, including foot-deep snow on Highway 47 north of Stoughton.

Environment Canada's special weather statement says the Colorado low is expected to bring four to eight centimetres of snow on Thursday.
