The final piece of the Chad Filteau puzzle has been put it place. The Eagle Drilling Estevan Bruins traded Filteau to the Battlefords North Stars late in the season for Justin Waskewitch and Ryan Anderson, and now the Bruins get 1991 Forward Ward Szucki to complete the deal.
Head Coach for the Bruins Karry Biette said he was one of the North Stars' better forwards. "Being a '91, his size, his strength and scoring a lot of goal for them, he's one of the players I highlighted early in the Filteau Trade." Biette continues, "They were of the feeling they needed Mr. Szucki for a playoff run and I agreed with them and could wait until this time to get him,"
The Bruins have begun cashing in of the future considerations for players traded this past season, they are expecting to receive 4 more players from the La Ronge Ice Wovles and the Dauphin Kings in the coming weeks.
