The Eagle Drilling Estevan Bruins were close, but they didn't crack the CJHL's top 20 ranking this week.

The Bruins made into the honourable mention category for the second time this season. The Bruins play has picked over the last couple of weeks, with a 4 game winning streak. The winning streak includes a couple of wins over some good clubs like the previously top ranked Humboldt Broncos and the Kindersley Klippers.

While guys like Ryan Anderson, Mark Cross, Troy Hunter and Dylan Smith have been productive for the entire season, the Bruins have been getting more production from some players that didn't get the starts they were looking for like Ben Findlay, Kyle Johnson and Justin Waskewitch.

The Bruins will likely stand a good chance of cracking into the Top 20 if they have an impressive week against 3 tough teams. The Bruins will host the Battlefords Northstars tomorrow night at 7:30.  They will travel to Yorkton on Friday night, in a game you can hear on CJ1280. And then they will wrap up the week against the La Ronge Ice Wolves on Sunday.
