The United Way's 9th Annual Day of Caring took place, and lots of people got involved. Including some of us from the Radio Station. First off we started at the volunteers BBQ which was absolutely delicious and it was great to see so many people there!

Then it was on to the hard work. We headed over to the Exhibition Grounds (which was our assigned location) and after a little bit of confusion managed to find some paint and brushes. Venturing out into the grounds we worked out how to get into the corrals and got to work painting them! Of course though, it had to be a windy day which resulted in a fair bit of paint flying everywhere! But with help from the folks over at MNP and some friendly competition we managed to get everything painted! Just before the rain started!

It was great to help out around the town and was pretty satisfying to see the end result! Hopefully all of you had a lovely Day of Caring too!
