The wet weather couldn't slow down racing at the Estevan Motor Speedway this weekend. Race officials were worried with the rain last week, that the weekend races would be cancelled, but all of the events ran as planned.

The big winner last night was Aaron Turnbull who won the IMCA Modified Main Event. Turnbull felt the track wasn't a big problem. "The track was bumpier and wet  last night, but tonight it dried up and was more smooth which was to my liking."

Turnbull is so no stranger to the victory lane, as he picked up his 4th win of the season. He credits a lot of success to his car. "The car has been handling really well on any kind of track, we're just making little adjustments for each different kind of track and its working good.

Other winners last night in the Hobby Stock was Dana Brandt and the Stock Car winner was Kelly Henderson.

The next event at the Speedway is Friday July 2.
