A familiar face will be returning to the Estevan Bruins in the new year.

Forward Keagon Little, who won a championship with Estevan last season, will be re-joining the Bruins after the Christmas break, the team announced on Wednesday.

Little had departed Estevan this past summer to play closer to home at Briercrest College. The Wymark, Sask native had eight goals and 25 assists in 53 games last season.

"Adding a player like Keagon after the Christmas break is great news for our hockey team," said Bruins head coach and GM Jason Tatarnic. "He has championship experience and is a player that really played in all situations for us last season. As a staff we are excited to have Keagon back."

Little said he’s “Looking forward to getting back to Estevan and competing for another championship."

The 19-year-old Little also had four points in 16 playoff games last spring.
