The Estevan Police Service, Estevan Fire Rescue, and Emergency Medical Services responded to a two-vehicle collision Tuesday afternoon on Kensington in front of Walmart.

Police said minor injuries were reported and both vehicles were towed. They thanked the public for their patience while police directed traffic.

The EPS received a report of extortion. A victim shared photos over the internet, and the person who received them threatened to send them to the complainant's contacts unless the complainant paid the recipient.

The complainant initially paid a sum of money in Apple cards, then the individual demanded more money. Police helped the victim change the security settings on their social media account, and are still investigating the matter.

Police are investigating a file regarding uttering threats, criminal harassment, and breach of probation.

Police received a report of a suspicious male at an apartment complex in the Hillside area. Members attended but did not locate the male. Extra patrols were conducted. The investigation is ongoing.

Police received a report of two parties having a dispute over a family law matter.  The dispute was over custody of their children.  The police have limited ability to get involved and in this case had no authority to get involved.  The parties were referred to their lawyers and court to resolve their dispute.

Police received a report from a homeowner who thought someone might be in their yard.  Police attended and checked the property.  The caller was updated that there was no one in their yard.
