Escape the cold with Estevan Public Library's exciting Novemeber activities

The arrival of snow might be signaling the start of winter, but the Estevan Public Library has no intention of slowing down its activities. Branch Manager, Jason Redshaw, recently appeared on SUN102, discussing the library's upcoming events and activities.

Estevan Public Library November Calendar

The Estevan Public Library will kick off November with a fall book sale, running from November 2 through November 5. On the last two days, Saturday and Sunday, readers can fill a bag with books for just $5. Redshaw encouraged the community to contribute to the sale, saying, "We're still looking for donations. So if anybody wishes to donate any gently used books, feel free to drop them off at the library and we'll gladly place them into the book sale." He did clarify that encyclopedias wouldn't be accepted.

Redshaw then moved on to discuss the upcoming improv drama night on November 7, an event that promises an entertaining evening for those interested in trying their hand at acting and improvisation. He stated, "It's going to be a fun night. It's something if you're looking to do a little bit of acting and trying to learn how to start doing some improv, this is the place for you."

Another event that has garnered attention in Estevan is the library's Escape Room experience. Following the success of the teen edition over the summer, an adult version is scheduled for November 21 through 23. According to Redshaw, the adult escape room, designed by the library's adult programmer Anna, is particularly challenging. He noted, "It's going to be very tough to get out of. She gave me an early look at it, and I would not be able to escape from it. I would probably starve to death. I would never be able to get out unless they let me out."
