New MLA Of Moose Jaw Wakamow, Greg Lawrence

There were many surprises during the election last night. One of the biggest may be the victory for Greg Lawrence in Moose Jaw Wakamow. Lawrence upset the favoured NDP inbumbent, Deb Higgins. What makes Lawrence's victory special to southeast Saskatchewan is that Lawrence is from the Estevan area and spent a great deal of his life here before moving to Moose Jaw.

Like the rest of the SaskParty, Lawrence is very happy with how the election panned out. He really appreciated the hard work from people across the province.

Other surprises last night included Gene Makowsky winning the Regina Dewdney riding over NDP incumbent Kelly Yates and Russ Marchuck winning the Regina Douglas Park riding over Dwain Lingenfelter.
