The latest tender plan from the provincial government was released on Thursday. The 2021 Fall Tender Plan includes $157.3 million in new highway projects across the province.

"Early notice of our construction plans to the roadbuilding industry ensures we can secure contractors and achieve value for money for taxpayers," Highways Minister Fred Bradshaw said.  "I am grateful to the roadbuilding industry for the good work they do and I look forward to seeing more work completed next year."

With the tendering process now open, interested companies can bid on the projects, some of which are quite significant. The list includes repaving on the Trans-Canada highway west of Moose Jaw, the rehabilitation of three bridges along Highway 11, resurfacing on Highway 16 near Saskatoon and installing new traffic signals on Highway 46 near Regina.
