Face-painting, Paw Patrol, and over 40 vendors packed the Curling Rink Saturday for the 2018 Family Expo.

Brittany Zahn with the Estevan Family Resource Center was excited to reveal the final numbers for their fundraiser this weekend. “After expenses were thinking $3500.00.”

“That’s more than last year, but we nearly doubled the people through the doors.” And with 600 people through the door this year is seems to have been truly successful.

When Brittany was asked about the highlights she pointed out, “The all day foot traffic was awesome, the kids face painting and kids stations and activities were a big hit. The Paw Patrol guys walking around were huge. The vendors were really happy with the turn-out and they are all hopefully coming back next year.”

The funds she explained, “It goes right back into the Center to pay for our expenses, with all of the free programming that we try to provide. So just to kind of off-set those costs for us, so that we can keep the programming for free.

It was a great event that everyone in attendance had a great time.
