We made our inaugural 'Grain Rush' delivery of 2017 on Monday!!!

After taking entries at sponsor locations all August long, our first KFC Estevan dinner traveled west down Highway 18 to Torquay for a sit down with Kyle Friess and family!

Kyle entered at the Nelson Motors & Equipment location in Estevan and thanks to him, the whole family enjoyed a delicious delivery!

Kyle said they're about 70% complete the 2017 harvest and the quality is "all right, but the quantity...not so much."

Torquay and much of the area to the west of the village did not see much rainfall during the summer, but the Friess farm was upbeat and all smiles heading into September, especially after winning a free KFC dinner!
