The number of hospitalized cases of COVID-19 has jumped, while the rise in cases seen last week continued today.

In the province, 274 new cases were reported today, with 153 recoveries, making the active case count across Saskatchewan 2,204.

There are 19 new cases in hospitals today, raising the number of hospitalized cases to 130.

The new seven-day average for new cases is 248.

In the South East area, there are three new cases and four recoveries, lowering the active case count to 64.

In Estevan's South East Sub Zone 4, one new case has been reported, and the current number of active cases is 22.
