With testing for belt advancement on the horizon, the Estevan Taekwondo club has a big few days ahead of them. Some of their students are going for black belts and all are hoping to impress.

Making the next few days all the more important is the presence of a true master of the martial art in Estevan. An eighth degree black belt from Toronto will be in Estevan to judge the students.

Instructors Don DeChief and Wayne Brown stopped by the Rock 106 studio on Wednesday morning to talk about how difficult it is to obtain a black belt of that degree and what separates Taekwondo from other martial arts, as well as what they're expecting from the weeks ahead for the club.

If the public wants a demonstration of Taekwondo, there will be a seminar in the coming weeks as well. Thanks again for joining us, Wayne and Don!
