The Estevan Police Service were called to a pair of collisions this week.

A vehicle was towed after a motor-vehicle collision in central Estevan Wednesday. No injuries were reported in that crash. 

And police responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Rooney Road and Kensington Avenue on Tuesday. Minor injuries were reported, and one vehicle was towed. One of the drivers was charged under the Traffic Safety Act.

Police remind the public to drive according to the winter conditions.

A 26-year-old Estevan man was charged with mischief under $5,000 after damage was reported to a local bank on Tuesday. He was released for a provincial court appearance in February and was placed on conditions.

A scam involving Social Insurance Numbers was reported. Police remind the public to be aware of a variety of frauds, and to not provide any information. 

"Legit organizations do not conduct business in this manner," said a police release. "If you’re unsure, it’s always safer to hang up, look up the verified number of the involved, and inquire."

Police reported they were called to a report of suspicious activity in the Hillcrest area Tuesday. They remind residents to lock car doors and remove any valuables from the vehicle.
