Kim Mayuk is the Director and Owner of OM Yoga Studio, and she was down at the library offering free sessions for parents to come

"We run classes for ages 3 with our oldest student being 83," she added which is quite the impressive age range.

Kim told us about the classes, "We run through a on hour class of just working with breath, as well as yoga related postures that incorporate mom and baby working together. We also do baby engagement exercises which encourages mobility in babies body, so working with legs, arms, and coordinating opposite sides. As well as new movements in the body, so like things that would help with starting to roll over and bending into the legs and straightening out the fingers. Encouraging motion in babies body. And we also work on rebuilding moms strength after having baby. Trying to get the abdominal's back to the strength where they were at before. Working on mom's posture, because you are always bending over. Picking up, changing and feeding baby."

Sessions at the studio run for 7 to 8 weeks, and as long as their is enough interest they are able to hold the class.

"There are just so many benefits to yoga that people are unaware of."
