The provincial government reported another 389 cases of COVID-19 Sunday, bringing the total number of active cases across the province up to 3,119. There was one death also reported. Since the start of the pandemic, 611 deaths connected to COVID-19 have been reported.

Of the new cases reported, 105 were among those under the age of 19, with another 84 being between the ages of 20 and 29. When it comes to vaccination status, 303 of the cases were among the unvaccinated with 29 partially vaccinated people and 57 fully vaccinated people also reported among the cases. This works out to 77.4 new cases per 100,000 unvaccinated people, 34 new cases per 100,000 partially vaccinated people and 8.1 new cases per one hundred thousand fully vaccinated people.

The majority of the new cases were again in the Saskatoon and North Central regions, with 153 and 58 new cases respectively. There were 53 new cases in the North West, 20 in the Regina region and the Far North West, 14 in the Central West, 11 in the Far North East, 10 in the Central East, nine in the South East and North East, four in the South Central and two in the South West.

The report released Sunday showed another 2,479 doses of COVID-19 vaccine had been administered. This brings the percentage of the total population who have been fully vaccinated up to 59.6 percent.
