The Estevan Police Service was busy over the weekend as they were responding to numerous calls from the community.

Police attended a total of 59 occurrences over the weekend.

One of these occurrences included a report of fraud through Paypal, with police still looking into the matter.

Another scam occurred when a complainant reported paying $1,950 for concert tickets and not receiving the tickets.  This matter is also being looked into.

Police received a complaint of unwanted intimate images being sent to an individual. That matter is still under investigation.

Police attended to a call where a youth was located outside without proper warm clothing. The identity of the individual was determined and she was transported home.

A report of a suspicious male at a local apartment complex was received.  He was spoken to and offered services.

Police located a stolen vehicle from Oxbow. The responsible person was located and arrested.  You can find more info in our article here.

A request for assistance from Calgary Police Service regarding a hit that occurred in Calgary was received. Members attempted to locate the individual in question for an interview however it is believed he is not in the city.

A report of an individual sending harassing messages was also received. Its matter has been assigned for further investigation.
