No Cases Reported Yet

 

It been another slow season in terms of West Nile in the Sun Country Health Region.
So far, there have zero reported cases of the virus in the Health Region. Dr. Shauna Hudson, Chief Medical Officer with the health region says there have been some signs of the culex tarsalis mosquito in the southeast. Dr. Hudson reminding us, even though the risk for west nile is low right now, it's important to wear repellent when outside, especially when the mosquitos are most active, at dusk and dawn.
