The anniversary celebration of a popular Estevan summer attraction has now led to an improvement in local health care for all of southeast Saskatchewan.

On June 10th, the Hidden Valley Golf & RV Resort in Estevan hosted 'River Jamm 20', an all-day celebration for the facility hosted by owners Brad and Sandra Dutton. All the proceeds from the festivities were gathered together and now, will be sent off to support the St. Joseph's Hospital in Estevan.

When the final penny was counted, the fundraiser netted a total of $5,289.38.

"The St. Joseph's Hospital Foundation (SJHF) would like to thank Brad and Sandra Dutton and the Hidden Valley Golf Course for their generous donation that was raised during their "River Jamm 20" celebration," stated SJHF Executive Director Becky Conly in a press release on July 6.

"This money will go towards much needed equipment and services within the St. Joseph's Hospital."
