One of the many member agencies to benefit from the United Way is the Saskatchewan Abilities Council.

Deanna Jessner Community Relations Coordinator, with Saskatchewan Abilities Council, explains what they're all about.

"We have been in operation for about 60 years and each summer approximately 700 children and adults with disabilities visit our camp. the whole resort is wheelchair accessible. Everything is made for someone who has disabilities to minimize that to the best of our abilities."

Jessner also adds that many of the camp goers look forward to camp every year and that it would not be possible without the help of the united way and she expresses her graciousness on behalf of the whole program.
