Additional breath tests and foot patrols through bars during St. Patrick's Day weekend yielded no issues, though the Estevan Police Service were kept busy with 87 occurrences.

Sgt. Tyler McMillen said they had calls regarding assaults, fraud, a couple scams, noise complaints, disturbances, and thefts. There were also a couple of harassment complaints and several traffic-related files.

"We did several mandatory breath tests, with it being Saint Patrick's Day weekend, we were out there checking on lots of cars and thankfully no arrests or suspensions were located, so that was wonderful to see," said McMillen. "We also did several foot patrols through the establishments, interacting with several different people. It was great to see really good crowds out on Saint Paddy's."

McMillen added that police did arrest a person for failing to comply with a release order.
