UPDATE:

Most of the Trans-Canada that was closed Tuesday morning has been opened as of 10:30 a.m. Travel, however, is not recommended in the area, as per the Highway Hotline.

Blowing snow is causing serious visibility issues on highways around the southeast.

The Highway Hotline is advising against travel on many highways around the southeast.

Highway 1 from just east of Swift Current past Regina is closed, along with many other highways in the Regina area.

Travel is not recommended on numerous highways around southeast Saskatchewan

Wind gusts of 80 kph from the northwest are causing blowing and drifting snow. Strong winds are expected to continue throughout the day.
