The Estevan Bible camp, which teaches skills like canoeing and archery among others, keeps its costs low by running a deficit. It costs them more to put a camper through their programs than it does to sign up for them. So, they rely on other means of support.

Community generosity is a huge part of it, and as Laden Mackenzie of the Bible Camp shared with us on Monday morning, it's helped keep the camp afloat. Now they'll need that generosity again with their fundraising BBQ on Saturday, June 9.

Come out to the Estevan Alliance Church on Saturday and support the Estevan Bible Camp. A big thank you to Laden Mackenzie for stopping by this morning, and best of luck with what will be an awesome summer for the Bible Camp.
