One night after the Toronto Blue Jays used the long ball to beat the Seattle Mariners, the Marniers reversed the trend last night, as Seattle beat the Jays 6-3.

Jose Lopez would supply all the offence Seattle needed as he cranked out 3 home runs in the win for the Mariners. The 3 home runs now gives Lopez a total of 10 for the season. Michael Saunders would provide the other home run in the win.

Kyle Drabek's debut in Toronto was an up and down affair as he went 5 innings giving up 4 hits and allowed 3 runs. He would end up taking the loss dropping his record to 0-2.

Vernon Wells is on the verge of the 30 home run mark as he connected for his 29th homer last night.

The Jays and Mariners will wrap up their series in an early contest. Canadian Shawn Hill will get the start for the Jays, opening pitch is at 10:30.
