Bruins and Hounds in preseason action

After a 6 day layoff  the Eagle Drilling Estevan Bruins will return to the ice tonight when they head to Wilcox to take on the Notre Dame Hounds in game 1 of a home and home set.

The Bruins are riding high from a pair of wins against Melville on the opening weekend of the SJHL season.

Even with a pair of impressive wins the Bruins still had plenty of things to work on in practice as Bruins Head Coach Karry Biette explains.

The Bruins will be heading into the Olympic sized Duncan McNeil Arena in Wilcox, which has far larger dimensions than the Civic Auditorium in Estevan. While the Bruins have a team built on size, they also have plenty of players like Ben Findlay, Michael Hengen and Justin Waskewitch who are looking forward to showing off their skills on the big ice surface.
