The Dauphin Kings are one game away from becoming the first Manitoba team to win the Anavet since the Selkirk Steelers in 2007.

The Kings defeated the La Ronge Ice Wolves by a score of 5-3 last night in Dauphin. Joel Kot lead the scoring with a goal and added 3 assists.

Former Bruin Devon Mitzner was not in the lineup yesterday for Dauphin, while former Bruins Liam Brennan and Colton McPherson were held off the scoresheet.

Dauphin will be looking to claim its first Anavet Cup since 1983 when a familiar name was the teams captain. Barry Trotz the current head coach for the Nashville Predators.

Game 5 tonight is 6:30 Saskatchewan time, if La Ronge wins tonight they will move the series back to La Ronge for game 6 on Saturday night.
