The Estevan Police Service made one arrest and, and others could be on the way, amidst a number of Tuesday calls.

Police reported that a 46-year-old Estevan man was arrested and charged with two counts of criminal harassment and two counts of uttering threats following an investigation into a weekend report. He was released and is scheduled for court in December.

Police were called to a residence in the Hillcrest area for a report of a suspicious male at a residence. He had left by the time police showed up. But the EPS is investigating whether a breach of a release order occurred, as the male was on conditions to not attend that residence.

Const. Danielle Stephany said the complainants questioned why the male was at the residence, and claimed he had entered the dwelling.

Police were also called to a report of a male not complying with his undertaking. Police are continuing to investigate both complaints, along with a separate complaint of uttering threats.

EPS attended a home in the Hillside area for a report of a domestic disturbance. Stephany said nothing physical had taken place. Both people were spoken to, and one person left for the night.

Police were called to a Pleasantdale residence for a report of a barking dog. The homeowners were gone and the matter was passed on to the bylaw officer.

And police were alerted to a Reader's Digest scam where a person was called and told they won $880,000. No information was provided to the caller.
