Even with summer in its last month many people already have a whole of photos albums of there journeys beyond the southeast, that said, with so many options to choose from hows one to decide where to go?

Discover Estevan’s Ethan Mitchell and Dawson Brolund ventured through the streets of Estevan with only one question on their minds, wheres somewhere you went this summer you would recommend to others next year?

Our first resident Chris suggested the riding mountain national park in Clear lake right off the bat. “It is a very beautiful place, the water is gorgeous and when you walk the strip everyone seems to be really friendly and there's lots of places you can walk in out of, lots of gift shops and very awesome restaurants.”

He went on to say that there's a lot to see in Estevan as well noting Boundary dam, Eddies and the Tower Cafe as places to check out in town.

Our second resident suggested Moosomin regional park as a place to visit, specifically for there firework show that was not too long ago. “We went on the weekend and watched the fireworks, it was one of the first places around I went with my wife.”

The resident was of Filipino descent and went with his wife to the event to cheer on the Philippines vs Canada competition. The Philippines ended up winning which he said was really cool to see. Furthermore, he finished by saying that there are so many great parks and places in not just Saskatchewan but Canada itself, that its hard to see them all, which we couldn’t agree with more.

One man steve said well he couldn’t get out too much due to farming obligations he did to go to the mosaic stadium once or twice, which he would recommend for sports fans who want to see the real deal.

Local resident Corey said he didn’t get the chance to get out all that much but recommend Katepwa beach and Whitebear for its golf course and community.

Our last resident recommended the City of Calgary. “its a good place to go there's lots of malls and fun stuff to do.” He went on to say that Calloway park is a great place to visit for families and a good change of pace for those looking to get away from them small-town blues.

With so many places to go and see these just a few that Saskatchewan has to offer. If you can't make it out however the city of Estevan and surrounding towns offer many ways to have fun in the summer months.
