Standout offensive performances from Sean Mallory and Carter Beck helped the 18U AAA Southeast Twins beat the hosting East-Central Red Sox 13-7 late Sunday afternoon, for a weekend split.

Mallory drove in five, including four via a grand slam, and walked twice. Beck had a homer, a double, and a pair of singles.

Dax Brown allowed one run in two innings of relief, earning the win.

The Twins lost the opener 5-2 to the Red Sox Saturday. Beck had three hits in that game.

The Twins are now 10-2, while the Red Sox are 8-2.

Six innings of two-run ball from Sutter Balog fuelled the Twins to a 5-2 Saturday win over the Sask Five Giants. Keaton Husband earned the save with a scoreless seventh inning.

The second game on Saturday against the 4-5 Giants was delayed, with the Giants leading the Twins 1-0 in the bottom of the first.

The next league game for the Twins is on June 15 in Estevan against the 5-9 Regina Athletics.
